Welcome to the Ocean City School District - a District of "choice" in the resort City of Ocean City.  Opportunities now exist for a limited number of students in K-11 to attend Ocean City Public Schools even if they do not reside in the Ocean City, Sea Isle City, Upper Township or Corbin City communities.    The specifics of the Program along with the application and other relevant information can be found in the links below.  Please open and read the frequently asked questions and timeline prior to printing out the School Choice Application and Notice of Intent to Enroll.  All applications that include parts 1 and 2 along with the supporting materials must be received by December 7, 2012 for the 2013-2014 school year.

Q: Will the 11/2 deadline for districts to verify student enrollment for student Interdistrict School Choice applications be extended?

A: Yes. The deadline will be extended until November 16 for students’ letters of intent and to November 26 for districts to confirm student eligibility.

OPEN HOUSE INFORMATION – Ocean City schools do not host an open house prior to students making an application to participate in school choice.  After all applications are received, parents and students who have been offered admission are invited to an open house to tour the facilities and gather more information prior to making a commitment to attend one of our schools.
